Sending your child on an overnight Catholic middle school youth ministry retreat is a powerful opportunity for them to step away from daily distractions and grow in their faith. The retreat is designed to help middle schoolers understand their self-worth by exploring their identity as beloved children of God. Through prayer, reflection, and fun, meaningful community experiences, your child can build confidence, deepen their relationship with God, and form lasting friendships rooted in shared faith.

It takes a special kind of person to walk the faith journey with middle schoolers—and we’re blessed to have a team that’s dedicated, enthusiastic, and ready to help your child grow closer to God.

How will my child get to the retreat?
Please bring your child directly to John Tanner Park. Follow the signs for the Group Lodge.
Does my child need to bring anything?
Your child will need a good attitude and an open heart! Oh, and a few other things... check them out.
Why does the retreat have a "no cell phone" policy?
To help make this weekend a true retreat, we’re asking students to leave their cell phones at home. We want them to fully unplug and be present—connecting with God and one another, even during meals and free time. Phones can easily become a distraction from the meaningful experiences we’re creating together. If you need to reach your child during the retreat, you can contact our Youth Minister, Amanda—her phone number will be provided at check-in.
