VISION STATEMENT
Whereas St. John Vianney Catholic Church is a diverse Faith Community,
Whereas people of African descent are a growing part of this diverse faith Community, and
Whereas these Africans in this Faith Community desire to contribute and play a role in the growth and advancement of this Faith Community,
All worshipers of African descent in St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Lithia Springs, Georgia have agreed to gather themselves together under the name "African Parishioners" desiring:
Purpose
- Primarily to promote diversity in this Faith Community according to the church's vision as it appears in the Church's website and the Bulletins.
- To encourage one another to use our individual and collective talents to participate in variousministries in this diverse Parish Community
- To play a big role in our children and other children's faith formations in this Faith
- To harmonize and exhibit our different rich cultures, through music, uplifting worships, cultural exchanges and activities because we come from different countries in Africa with different rich cultures
- To support our individual Parish Families according to needs.
